I must admit, this article brings up a really good point. He writes, "In the 90′s it was a big “no no” and women would lie about their weaves all day long. If it wasn’t for your prom, then it wasn’t cool. LOL. But now, weaves are an everyday thing and we have learned to accept them...."
However, I would add, not only have we accepted them, we now "judge" them. We talk about the good , the bad, and the ugly weave...., so we have to thank God for the good! Speaking of good weave, I believe all the buzz about weave is primarily due to the influx of celeberities getting high quality weave - like Remy Hair. In fact, well known celeberities like Ciara, Pattie Labelle, Yolanda Adams, just to name a few, are setting the standard when it comes to high quality hair.
So now, here we are, a decade or so past the year 2000 and women not only go to the closet to pick out Marc Jacobs, Prada, and Gucci..., they now accessorize with Remi and Malyasion hair. Are you accessorizing?
